Ruth Munroe Death and Funeral

On November 9, 2014, Ruth Munroe and her husband died in a private jet crash as they approached the airport. Officials from the Bahamas said their plane collided with a crane at a shipyard near Grand Bahamas International Airport.

Munroe and the other passengers were on their way to a meeting in Freeport, Grand Bahama.

With nine persons on board, the Lear 36 executive jet departed the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) in Nassau, the Bahamas for the Grand Bahama International Airport, a privately owned international airport in Freeport, Bahamas.

On December 4, 2014, their funeral was held at the Bahamas Faith Ministries International Diplomat Centre.

However, as her husband will say, the greatest tragedy on earth is not death but living a life without purpose.

Ruth Munroe lived a life of purpose, and although she is no more, her works and legacy still live on with that of her husband Dr. Myles Munroe.
